DAYTON–Bask on a luxurious beach at Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, or see Carrie Underwood perform in concert in fabulous Las Vegas...just raise your hand and make that dream come true! It could happen this Friday, March 17, at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce's Brix and Brew annual fund raising event in the Fairgrounds Pavilion.

The gala evening, which gets underway around 5:30 p.m. with Social Hour and Silent Auction bidding, will conclude with a live auction starting at 7 p.m.

There's a plethora of prizes but four are pretty awesome. If you're a country music fan, how about hearing Carrie Underwood perform in Las Vegas on September 23, 2023? Whoever wins that package will receive air fare for two on Allegiant Air, tickets to the concert and three nights in The Linq Hotel, right on the Strip.

If sunny Mexico is more your style, you'll get to choose the dates for your four-night, all-inclusive vacation for two adults to beautiful Cabo San Lucas, on the southern tip of the Baja California Sur, plus receive a $100 gift card for incidentals. Travel expenses are not included but relaxing on the white sand at Cabo might be reward enough. The winning bidder may select any of a multitude of beachfront resorts. All meals, drinks, gratuities and non-motorized activities are included.

Or bid on a family trip for four to Spokane for the Jurassic World Live tour that includes a one-night stay at the Oxford Inn Suites, which includes breakfast, a variety of kids' toy items, and a $100 gift card.

Another special auction item is a trip for two up Hells Canyon with Snake River Adventures that includes a one-night stay at the Holiday Inn in Clarkston, (formerly the Quality Inn) and a gift certificate for the Quay Restaurant located inside the Holiday Inn.

The Chamber has also put together some excellent local packages from Table Rock Meat Company and Double D Farms, a Life Flight membership, a Coors package, Pepsi, Dayton Dental, Dingle's, City Lumber, Chief Springs, My Dad's Place and so many more.

There will be a double whammy of raffle items, the limited Golden Ticket raffle, and the incomparable Bette Lou Crothers will lead all in a game of Heads and Tails. In addition, there will be door prizes and Spin the Bottle.

Come hungry because Chicken Bill's Café & Golf is catering, and wine and beer featured throughout the evening come from a wide variety of wineries, including Figgins Family Winery, Dumas Station, Red Band Cellars, Gard Vintner, Boma, Dunham Cellars, Amvi, Balboa Winery, College Cellars, Foundry and Eternal Heritage, and that's to name just a few. Local brewer Chief Springs will be pouring its specialty beer.
