The Dayton Middle School Drama class and crew performed the play "Cinderella" on March 28-29 from 2-3 p.m. Many staff members enjoyed watching this play.

DAYTON–The Middle School (MS) drama program presented Cinderella for students in the High School Auditorium on March 28-29 from 2-3 p.m.

The MS drama program has worked hard on acting during class throughout the year to prepare the beloved folk tale of Cinderella. Students were treated to this drama about a young woman living in dire circumstances who was suddenly given great fortune just by taking the opportunity to be in the right place at the right time, last Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

Spring Break came in hot, but before Dayton High School (DHS) Associated Student Body (ASB) could take a well-deserved break, they were actively working on revising the constitution and getting ready for the new 2023-24 ASB elections. The election process will start after Spring Break on April 10. Candidacy sheets and sign-ups will be in the DHS Office open for those running for ASB.

The ASB is in the process of planning a Spring Spirit Week on April 24-29, leading up to Prom at the end of that time. During Spring Spirit Week there will be many events and dress-up days coordinated by the ASB which is currently scheduled for approval. Prom is also being coordinated with the Junior Class from Dayton and Waitsburg.

While Spring Spirit/Prom Week will be full and busy week of events, those who plan to take the SAT exam in the morning of April 25, must put it in their schedule. In addition, Dayton FFA members from the Livestock Team will be going to Asotin to participate in the District Livestock Competition.

There are many events ahead of us after Spring Break!
