Big competition at big meet

Dayton-Waitsburg sprinter Teegan Kenney placed 33rd in the 400 m. dash with a time of 1:04.39, in a field that included athletes from numerous larger high schools from Oregon and in the state. Kenneyh also was 23rd in the long jump with a 17-4 mark.

HANFORD–Dayton-Waitsburg Track and Field athletes competed in the Clay Lewis Invitational at Hanford High School on April 1.

The meet includes 14 teams, including Oregon 5A and 3A, Washington 4A and 3A, and Columbia, DW and Highland, and 1A Kiona-Benton.
