April 20, 2023

DAYTON–Students returned from a week off for Spring Break and prepare for end of the school year activities. FFA received a $63,000 grant; and the Associated Student Body officer election is underway.

Dayton FFA has worked hard on the greenhouse over the few past years. Recently, they received a grant of $63,000 through the Columbia County Conservation District to renovate and expand the greenhouse. With this grant, students enrolled in agricultural classes and Dayton FFA chapter members will have the opportunity to work on the greenhouse. The renovation will provide more space for plants for the annual Dayton FFA Plant Sale and will create a bigger learning environment for students in ag classes, such as Horticulture or Plant Science.
