Wolfpack bows out with losses to TCP

WAITSBURG–Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack baseball finished its season with a pair of shut-out losses to TriCities Prep here May 6. TCP cruised to win 15-0 and 10-0, with the wolfpack finishing in fifth place with a 2-8 league record, 5-14 on the year.

The Jaguars stacked up runs in all innings but the top of the fourth in the first game, racking up 16 hits and playing errorless defense. Levi Boudrieau made Dayton-Waitsburg's sole hit in the game.

In the second game, TriCities Prep started slow, then battered the Wolfpack with six runs in the fourth inning, finishing the five-inning, mercy-rule contest.

River View finished in first place with a 9-1 record, followed by Prep with an 8-1 record, and Columbia in third at 6-4. Warden finished fourth with a 5-5 mark.
