POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority (CTA) discussed funding for the 2023–25 biennium at their meeting on June 20.

The CTA has received $680,900 from the Washington State Department of Transportation from a consolidated contract that funds the biennium, as well as $153,296 from WSDOT’s PataTransit/Special Needs program. Both of these awards require a 20% match from the CTA. The funding sources also include $182,902 of federal funding that must be spent by June 30, 2025, as well as sales tax figures. The total amount of funding for the 2023-25 biennium discussed is $1,041,912.
