Youth from Pomeroy, ages 8 through 14, are invited to register for the upcoming Introduction to Robotics 4-H Camp from July 18-20, 2023. The camp runs from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Pomeroy Elementary School, located at 121 S. 10th Street, Pomeroy, Wash. The registration deadline for the camp is Friday, July 14.

Youth will build and operate robots, learn about programming operating systems, navigate team robotic challenges, and explore the field of engineering. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about robotic systems and have lots of fun at the same time!

There is a registration fee per child which covers the use of the robotics kits for the camp and a snack. There are only 12 spots available in the camp.

This camp is sponsored by WSU Extension in Whitman, Garfield, and Asotin Counties.

Contact the WSU Whitman County Extension office for more information at (509) 397-6290. The registration form is available at the WSU Garfield County Extension office. Extension Programs and opportunities are available to all without discrimination. Evidence of noncompliance may be reported to your county Extension Office.
