About a dozen and a half local youngsters turned out for "Soaked! Kids' Night Out At the City Park" Wednesday evening and by all indications, they had a wet blast. The wet and wild event was planned and sponsored by United Churches for Children of Columbia County and included the ever-popular Slip N Slide, water balloons, bubble-making stations, Tug-O-War over a sprinkler, a Splash Pad and more. The hour-long play session concluded with hot dogs and refreshments, a perfect conclusion to the 105° F. evening (inset).
