It was asked of me if I had thoughts about the upcoming indictments of former President of the United States, Donald Trump. I do have thoughts on the subject, but it was unclear if I was to respond to the fake charges in Georgia or was it perhaps the made-up garbage run by suspected corrupt prosecutor Jack Smith? Or maybe it was the next new “fresh off the grill” impeachment concerning the cocaine found at the White House. Trump lived in the White House, “lets pin it on him!” The FBI, DOJ, Secret Service, will all most likely cooperate to fabricate the next round of “Let’s get Trump!”

This is an opinion piece so I’ll gather up my opinion and lay it at your feet. Please make certain that your seat is in the full and upright position. Pull all the slack from the safety belt, this may get bumpy.

At nearly seven decades long, I came in after work for a shower and some supper. I turned on Newsmax as I usually do of an evening, just to see what the democrats had broken this day. Donald Trump was appearing in a courtroom and the camera showed videos of the crowd outside. They were mostly young black females holding defamatory signs against Don Trump. Hatred was ripe with the crowd.

I have a pal, an old friend a half dozen years my senior. He taught school and did a stint in the military, so I figure he has earned the right to be stupid. He is a Trump hater. If I want to really upset him, I call him a democrat. The first week of slow Joe’s rein, I asked him, “hey, I really like what your guy is doing with Afghanistan and the price of fuel.” He gets mad as most folks that were dumb enough to mark the box next to the Biden name are. “I don’t like this Bozo in the White House” he answers. I told him, “You do realize that there were only two horses in the race, don’t you?” He raises his voice, “I hate Trump. I don’t like his tweets, and he lies all the time!”

Like most Trump haters, when they are asked for specifics about what really upsets them or what lie has Trump said, they get flustered. CNN and the rest of the fake news, democrat rubber-stamped outlets had not prepared him for a response to such a question, and he was agitated not having a sound retort. So, it has been with every person on the Trump hating side of the isle. When they say that they don’t like his tweets, I ask, “why don’t you de-friend him or stop following him on social media.” That pushes their squirrel button square on. I don’t follow him on social media!” they holler back. It seems that they all suckle at the nipple of the fake news propaganda machine. Everything has been run through a filter. “They hate simply because they have been programmed to hate.”

Getting back to the crowd outside the courtroom where Donald Trump is being pushed through the ringer for the, I don’t know, the eighth or so time. At this moment more so than any time before, I could almost hear the words just slightly above a whisper, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!”

How many false charges did my Jesus face? The faces in the streets of Jerusalem must have looked to my Savior somewhat as the faces outside the courtrooms have looked to Trump. Hatred overflowing their souls and spilling out their mouths as the media demands them to.

“This Jesus clown, we beat the crap out of him, parade him in a fake trial, then drag his bloody bag of bones up and nail him to a tree? In a week or possibly two, he goes away, nobody will remember his name or the words that fell from his lips. Let us fix this problem with the law! We don’t like his tweets!” the democrats of the day say amongst themselves as a smattering of republican’s nod in agreement.

Crowds of people travel great distances to get a glimpse of or to hear the voice of Jesus Christ and his message of love and peace. Crowds of people travel great distances to get a glimpse of the greatest leader this country has ever produced and to hear his voice praising peace and his greater love of Jesus Christ.

I asked a Biden voter recently, “if Joey was in a town near you, would you go to listen to him speak?” They answered “No”. I told them that if Trump was in Boise or Spokane, I would love to go to listen to him.” He makes me believe in the possible goodness in people and of a country that was once loyal to our laws as well as the ones handed to us at the base of Mr. Sinai.

“This Trump clown, we drag him through a maze of false legal proceedings. Then we make up a bunch of lies, one after another, after another. The crowd is stupid. They will believe what we tell them to believe, look at them down there waving the signs. Mark my words, in a month or two nobody will remember the name of Donald Trump!” What they fail to realize is that with every false attack upon him a few more voters see through the smoke. They start to smell the stink, and a few more step from darkness into the light.

I would imagine that very few lefties or people who have the TDS gene (Trump Derangement Syndrome), have followed this piece start to finish. They love their Joe. He is them in a nutshell. Do I have an opinion about what is going on in this country? Yes, I do, and you should too. Sometimes the truth is a slippery thing to hold on to, you might have to chase it around a bit, just look beyond the smoke.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son. For God so loved America that he gave us Donald Trump. Thank you, Jesus, for not giving up on us, no matter how wicked we are. Thank you, Donald Trump, it would be easier for you to just throw in the towel and live in luxury the rest of your life far away from this heap of decay. Thank God. P.S. I love you, Eric.
