Dayton Bulldog athletics is back in business

Elsie Mann lettered playing volleyball for the DW Combine and is among the Dayton Bulldog Volleyball Team's 15 players who are turning out to compete in the Wheat Division of the District 9 1B league. At the helm this year is Head Coach Des Jones, assisted by Tamira Culley. Dayton will host a season-opening jamboree on September 5 then go into the season with a Sept. 7 home match versus White Swan.

There are five cheer squad members turning out to lead the student body and local crowd in cheering on Bulldog teams competing this fall. Of the five, Laney Crow is the returning letter winner who will help the squad keep the spirit up under new Head Coach Brianna Collier. Crow lettered cheering for the combine in previous years.

Kaylub Prather is a 5-8, 162 lb. senior who will fill roles as running back and middle linebacker for the Dayton Bulldogs eight-man football team this season, under Head Coach Lucas Collier and assistant coaches Jeremy Trump and Zach Fabian. Collier has 19 football hopefuls turning out which will dive right into the 2023 campaign this Friday against Sunnyside Christian on the home gridiron.
