It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beldon Pearson, who left us on September 11, 2023, at the age of 88.
He was born on March 28, 1935 in Kelso, Wash., to Sherman and Nora Pearson. He graduated Dayton High School and was class of 1953.
Beldon served in the U.S. Army from 1958-60, where he was stationed for 18 months in Darmstadt Germany. He returned home where he was a part of WSDOT for over 35+ years, serving as a Civil Engineer.
He dedicated his life to his family and loved ones. Beldon loved to hike and would do daily walks up until a few months before his passing.
Beldon was very close to his sister, Ellie Pearson, and his two nephews, Rod and Jeff Johnson. He will be deeply missed by his family members.
A funeral service to celebrate Beldon Pearson’s life will be held at Dayton Cemetery on September 15 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to attend to pay their respects.
The family would like to express gratitude to the medical professionals, and caregivers at Legacy Hospital in Salmon Creek, Wash.
We would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
