Inspections to temporarily close two Col. Co. bridges

DAYTON–Two bridges in northern Columbia County will be temporarily closed on October 24 for annual inspections, the Columbia County Public Works Department advises.
The Starbuck Bridge at the north end of Kellogg Hollow Road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 12 noon on October 24, and the Vernon Smith Bridge, on Rose Gulch Road, will be closed from 12 noon until 5 p.m.
Users of those roads and bridges should plan to travel alternate routes while the bridges are being inspected.
