PASCO–The Lady Bulldogs bounced over some rough road last week, dropping three matches in a row–two on the road–as they roll into the final two weeks of the regular season.

TriCities Prep and Columbia Burbank both downed the Lady Dawgs in three sets last week, and the Pomeroy Pirates visited on Tuesday, October 10, and went away with a 3-1 victory.

This week's matches are again three in a row: Tuesday the Bulldogs traveled to St. John to face the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Lady Eagles; Wednesday's match was against the DeSales Lady Irish and tonight's opponent will be Garfield-Palouse as part of Homecoming Week at Dayton High School.

Against the Pirates, the set scores were 20-25, 17-25, 25-23, 12-25, the Lady Bulldogs rallying in the third set for a squeaky-close win 25-23.

Dayton's record is now 0-9, 1-12 overall in the Southeast 1B Wheat Division. Leading the pack is Oakesdale with a spotless 10-0 mark, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse in second at 7-2, Pomeroy in third at 6-4, Colton holding down fourth with a 5-5 mark, Garfield-Palouse in fifth at 4-5 and Tekoa-Rosalia sixth with a record of 2-5.

In the Grape Division, Liberty Christian commands 9-0 for first, Sunnyside Christian is 7-2 for second place and the Lady Irish are in third with a 7-3 record. Prescott's 5-4 puts them in fourth place and Yakama Tribal is 4-7 for fifth. Waitsburg is 2-6 and Touchet is winless at 0-10.
