Trick or Treaters haunt Dayton's Neighborhoods

Hundreds of mermaids, ninjas, gladiators, dinosaurs, and characters of all shapes and descriptions plied the sidewalks and front porches of Dayton's neighborhoods, gathering Halloween goodies from residents like Dain Nysoe, here doling out some Halloween candy to a trio of Trick or Treaters who ambled to his doorstep last Tuesday. Hundreds also converged on Dayton's Main Street earlier in the day, going from business to business, visiting the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and other spots. Halloween pictures will appear next week.
