Gloria Mae Costello passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 8, 2023.

Gloria was born August 26., 1934 in Upland, Calif. to Delmar and Alfreda McIntyre. She married Jim Costello Sr. Feb. 2, 1952, at Gardenerville, Nev.

After Jim's discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1954 the couple moved to Edgewood, Wash. In 1967 they moved to Omak, Wash., and bought an apple orchard on Duck Lake Rd. and continued to run the business for 25 years. In 1977 they sold the business and moved to Dayton, Wash.

As a child Gloria was a lover of horses and all animals. She would share of riding her horses through the orange groves in Southern California and how much she missed that.

Gloria was a member of the Ghost Riders Horse Club and Drill Team in Omak. She showed Peruvian Paso horses and traveled and participated in many rodeos, horse shows and parades. She was also in the Old West Gunfighters with her husband, Jim, in parades.

Gloria's hobbies were crocheting and wood crafting with her husband. They also enjoyed many years of square dancing together. Gloria loved attending her church and enjoyed Christian Women's Group.

She dearly loved her family and is survived by her children, Beckey (Hugh) Jensen, of Tonasket, Wash., Jim (Torie) Costello Jr., of Dayton, Wash; and Brenda Costello, of Omak; her grandchildren, Sarah (Gavin) Pratt, Bethany Jensen, Hannah (Andre) Loranc; James ( Jaden) Costello III, Reed Costello, Camdon (Lilli) Costello, Wyatt Costello, Juan (Olivia) Garcia, and Daniel Garcia; seven great-grandchildren, Holland Pratt, Savannah Pratt, Liam Loranc, Eden Loranc, Seamore Costello, Ryan Costello and Ozzy Garcia.

A Celebration of Life for Mom will be at a later date. The family wishes a very special thank you to Ryan and Mandy Holz and their staff for all the loving care they gave to our Mom at Golden Years.
