The Bulldogs downed Touchet 49-46 to register their first win of the 2023-24 season on the home basketball court. The team's high scorer was Denver Hutchens (12) with 19 points, here guarded by Touchet Redhawk Preston Frazier (24) of Touchet .

ROSALIAؘ–After putting the first W on their schedule with a 49-46 non-league win over the Touchet Redhawks last week, the Bulldogs suffered a stinging 75-36 loss to Tekoa-Rosalia here Friday, December 22, prior to breaking for Christmas.
Dayton resumes the season on January 5 at Palouse against the Gar-Pal Vikings, then faces visiting Oakesdale Saturday, January 6.
