Jack W. Davis

December 28, 1941 – February 2, 2024

Jack Wayne Davis was born to Jack C. Davis and Barbara Buroker on December 28, 1941, in Dayton, WA. Jack grew up in Dayton, and then enlisted in the Navy for four years. While in the Navy, Jack was on leave in New Jersey, and that is where he met the love of his life, Miriam Wilkinson. They married in 1962 and moved back to Dayton in 1964. Soon after, they had a son (Eric) and a daughter (Kay). Jack worked for the Columbia County Road Department and retired after 30 years. Jack's favorite hobby was golfing. He also liked fishing and hunting.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack C. Davis; mother, Barbara Buroker; wife of 60 years, Miriam Davis; daughter, Kay Davis.

He is survived by his son, Eric (Shelli) Davis; three grandchildren, Amanda (Blake) Marion; April Davis; Olivia Bennett; five great grandchildren, Amelia Williams, Hank Williams, Taylor Bennett, Violet Bennett and Grace Marion.

Jack was a wonderful, kind dad, "Poppy Jack", husband and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
