DAYTON–Ballots are being turned in and sent out left and right for the Dayton School District Levy, and many students of voting age are being asked to vote during this time. This levy was presented to the Associated Student Body (ASB) and Leadership students during seventh period a month ago by Rich Stewart to give students the idea of what the levy is and why the school is asking for it. It is a great opportunity for those seniors who have registered to vote and for our school district.

Spring sports registration is open for athletes who are interested in participating. Practices are supposed to start on February 26. These spring sports include track, softball, and baseball.

Middle School Associated Student Body (ASB) will sell Candy Grams as a fundraiser from February 5 to February 13. DHS ASB will sell Candy Grams as a fundraiser until February 13. The ASB will always have a bake sale on February 14 for Valentine's Day. This bake sale will include goodies such as chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and brownies. It will take place in the High School Commons in the morning on Valentine's Day.
