Roma Margaret Laybourn

February 8 –February 8, 2024

Roma Margaret Laybourn, a beloved mother, sister, and friend peacefully departed this world on her birthday, February 8, 2024.

Roma found solace in the simple pleasures of life such as a mountain flowers, preparing a Thanksgiving feast or tending to her garden in the springtime. Her personal relationship with God guided her steps along the way and she lived by the teachings of the Bible embodying compassion, and faith.

Roma expressed her love through acts of service, no matter how small. From sending a thoughtful card to delivering a warm home cooked meal. She had a special affinity for animals, nature, and sunshine.

Roma Margaret Laybourn

Intelligent, wise, and nostalgic Roma possessed a sharp sense of humor and a heart of Gold. She was full of spunk, but tender-hearted and easily moved a testament to her profound empathy and sensitivity.

As we bid farewell to Roma Margaret Laybourn, we take solace in knowing that her spirit will forever live-on in the laugher, love, and memories she shared with us all. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of God, her mother and sister in heaven, and may her legacy continue to inspire kindness and compassion in the hearts of those who follow in her footsteps.

She is survived by her children, Monte, Marty, Vicki, Diane, Brenda, and Michele.

Family and friends are invited to share memories of Roma and sign the online guestbook at mountainview-colonialdewitt.com.
