Japanese Exchange Students arrive in Dayton

Exchange Students from Yamate High School in Yokohama arrived last Friday for their two-week stay in Dayton, hitting the ground running by taking in Dayton Bulldog baseball and the Junior-Senior Prom Saturday evening. Monday evening in the Dayton Gym was the cultural event and Dayton students Dillon Lewis, left, and Cayle Davis, center, are dressed in traditional Japanese yukata garb by Chichiro Kitahara, 16 (kneeling), and Taiki Kimatsubara. The students are lodged with host families who will be native guides giving their Japanese students a taste of American culture. See related story in this web edition.
