Yamate Cultural Exchange students getting taste of Dayton lifestyle

While the Lady Bulldogs battled with the Pomeroy Pirates on the fast-pitch softball diamond, four Yamate students also took in the game on a sunny Tuesday afternoon in Dayton. The Japanese students will be completing their second of two weeks visiting Dayton and taking in the activities of a typical American town. Airi Suda, 16, left, and Azusa Maruyama, 16, (in Bulldog attire), are guests of Mike and Dawn McGhan. Kaho Tanisaki, 16, is seated next to Maruyama on the softball bleachers, and Maho Nakamo, 16, is behind her. Tanisaki and Nakano have been getting a taste of American culture during they stay at the home of Jeremy and Jamie Trump, and their daughters Grace and Lucy.
