Upcoming Spring Events

DAYTON–Many events are being prepared for May such as the FFA Plant Sale; Mother and Son Dodge Ball Tournament; K-12 class registration; Softball districts; and the FFA State Convention,

Coming May 2-4, from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m., the annual Dayton FFA Plant Sale will occur at the greenhouse near the ag shop. On May 5, the Mother and Son Dodge Ball Tournament will be at 1 p.m. in the gym. Grades K-12 are welcome to register at either the Elementary or High School Office. High School Softball Districts is on May 7. Dayton FFA members will attend and participate in the 94th Washington FFA State Convention at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman from May 9 to May 11.

Monday, April 29, Middle School (MS) Softball played Touchet; Middle School (MS) Baseball in Dayton against Touchet; and MS Track meet was in Pomeroy.

On Tuesday, April 30, the High School (HS) Track League Championship was in Pomeroy; HS Golf was at Palouse Ridge Golf Club; and the last League HS Girls Softball game was in Tekoa Rosalia. HS Baseball's home game was against St. John Endicott Lacrosse.

On Wednesday, May 1, the State Livestock Judging competition will be held in Spokane, and Dayton FFA will compete. MS Softball is in Dayton against Liberty Christian (Richland) at 4 p.m. The MS Baseball is in Liberty Christian Richland at 4 p.m.

On Thursday, May 2, the Career Fair is at Waitsburg HS is from 8-11 a.m. The MS Softball is in St.Patrick's game at 4 p.m. MS Track in Dayton meet starts at 4 p.m.

On Friday, May 3, the HS Baseball District playoffs will occur.
