Bulldog track and field hopefuls looking ahead

POMEROY––Bulldog sprinter Hikaru Iwamoto and sprinter Luke Winkler, along with hurdler and shot putter Solomon Brenner looke to have good chances of continuing their track and field season following the SE 1B Track and Field Championships here Tuesday.
Iwamoto captured second in the 100m. and third in the 200m. to score for Dayton, which finished sixth in the nine-school field. Pomeroy won the league trophy with 124 points, and Waitsburg was third with 78.5.
Dayton's Bonnie Anderson finished eighth in the 100m. with a 15.89 time for the Dayton women's single point. Gar-Pal won the women's with 137 points and Waitsburg was third with 59.
