Dayton Baseball came back with a successful second-place season after a several-year break. Players honored for their contributions at the Sports Awards Evening were, from left, Byron Collier, Colton Steinhoff, Silas Czapka, Andrew Wertz, William Cranmer, Brody Carrigan, William Durham, Denver Hutchens, Jordan McCowen, Duane Moore, Josh Sabin, Balian Walter, Raymond Yutzy, Jack Zanger and Chase Steinhoff. Hutchens, Durham, Steinhoff and McCowen were named All League. Team MVP was Durham. Cranmer was team-selected as Most Inspirational and Yutzy received a plaque as Most Improved. Steinhoff received the Coach's Award, Ace Pitcher went to McCowen, and Top Fielder went to Huchens. Hitting awards went to Durham, Hutchens and McCowen.
DAYTON–Dayton Bulldog student athletes were honored for their sporting endeavors at the Spring Sports Awards Night in the D.H.S. Auditorium May 30.
The Bulldog Golf Team finished second in the Blue Mountain Cup, said Coach Mike McGhan.
