Christmas Kickoff fun was-for the most part-a family affair, with all kinds of family groups donning their ugliest Christmas sweaters for the Ugly Sweater 5k Dash, and wouldn't "dashing through the snow" have been a hoot! The scores of dashers mugged for the Chronicle lens prior to the starting horn...or was that an antler?
