Fred Crowe of Dayton was one of the some dozen and a half swimmers who crossed the Snake River from Lyons Ferry State Park to the Lyons Ferry Marina under his own power. Crowe, a regular lap swimmer, felt good about the accomplishment in light of recently recovering from not only shoulder surgery but covide as well.
