Marcel M. Pietrzycki, M.D., and his wife Mary, grief stricken at the loss of their young son and daughter, left a bequest of $4,000 for the protection of Pietrzycki Park and the remainder of his estate, some $140,000, to the Dayton Public School, upon his death in September, 1910.
