Ski Bluewood to open Friday

DAYTON–Skiers and snowboard riders are undoubtedly rejoicing that the area's ski resort, Bluewood, will open Friday, December 20, announced Kim Clark, General Manager.
The area will be open daily from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the holiday schedule through January 5, 2020, except for Christmas Day, December 25, Clark said. Christmas Eve the hill will close at 2 p.m. with the half-day price all day. Holiday rates will be in effect during through January 5.
Both chairs will be running, Clark said, and operation may include one or both conveyors.
The resort introduced its mountain-top yurt and two beginner-friendly conveyors that replaced the platter pull last season.
Ski and snowboard rentals, retail, food services and lessons also will be available.
