Representatives rally public to attend governor's Snake River Dams Stakeholder workshops

During the 2019 legislative session at Gov. Jay Inslee's request, $750,000 was included in the 2019-21 operating budget to study the possibility of breaching and removing the four lower Snake River dams, which includes Little Goose Dam in Columbia County and Lower Granite Dam in neighboring Garfield County.

OLYMPIA–Reps. Joe Schmick and Mary Dye, from Columbia County's neighboring 9th Legislative District, are urging citizens to attend workshops being held this January in Clarkston, Vancouver and the Tri-Cities on the governor's Lower Snake River Dams Stakeholder Engagement Report.
