Kiwanis Club invites community to join virtual meeting

DAYTON–The community of Dayton is welcomed and invited to join Thursday's virtual meeting of the Dayton Kiwanis Club to hear new Dayton Schools Superintendent Guy Strot explain the plans to start school.

Anyone with access via a computer, tablet or cell phone is invited to join the Kiwanis Club Zoom meeting at noon, Thursday, August 13. After launching Zoom, the meeting identification is 253 439 9797 and there is no pass code required, or type this link into the browser to access the meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5598153650. The link is also available through the Kiwanis Club's Facebook page.

The "doors" to the Zoom meeting open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 p.m.

"This is one you won't want to miss," commented Kiwanis President Chuck Reeves. "The program gives you the chance to meet the new Superintendent of Dayton Schools, Guy Strot. At the same time, you will get to hear first-hand the latest information on the beginning of the school year, which is rapidly approaching."
