Dorothy Jean (nee Nelson) Crossler of St. Charles, Mo., passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 83.

Jean met her husband, Bob in Dayton, Wash., while he served in the Army. They got married and later moved to Chicago, Il. for Bob to attend college. They were blessed with 64 years of marriage.

Family was very important to Jean, together they would take vacations as road trips to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Mt. Rushmore, Niagara Falls, and many of the states in the continental United States. In her free time, she also enjoyed cross-stitching.

Loving wife of Robert Crossler; beloved daughter of the late Robert M. and Viola B. Nelson; devoted mother of Debi Addis and Kathy Coughlin (Mark Luker); cherished grandmother of Stefani Sammons, Elisha Giesler, Melissa (Warren) Gordiner, Sean Wilson, and Rob Bright; treasured great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Charles (Marlene) Nelson. Jean is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Richard Nelson.
