Elementary students surpassed reading goal of 600 strips of tape, earning 1,000 strips during "Read Across America" week. Elementary Principal Amy Cox found herself securely stuck to the multipurpose room wall by each strip of duct tape donated by City Lumber and Coal and Dingle's of Dayton.

DAYTON–Elementary school students earned over 1,000 strips of tape during the "Read Across America" week February 28–March 3.
