Northwest Grain Growers contributes to Dayton Kiwanis

Kiwanis Club readying for its 100th Anniversary celebration Sept. 17 and the Barn at Blue Meadows

Dayton Kiwanis Club President Kim Lyonnais accepted a $500 check from Jacob Forsman, Manager of Northwest Grain Growers' Dayton office recently, the money earmarked for improvements made inside and outside of the cabin, which the 100-year-old community-service organization makes available for rent to individuals, families and group retreats. "This is much appreciated," Lyonnais said, "especially since Kiwanis has had a couple slow years because of covid." The Dayton Kiwanis Club will mark its 100th Anniversary with a banquet and program at The Barn at Blue Meadow, 5:30 p.m., Saturday, September 17. Tickets are $50 per person for the catered meal, available at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
