Car fire under investigation

Fire units and police responded to Mill Race Road early Tuesday morning to a report of a car on fire, and discovered an unattended vehicle fully engulfed. Fire District No. 3 fire fighters put the fire out at the 2:23 a.m. incident. The responding deputy determined that no individuals were in the burning vehicle, and that tracks in the snow appeared to lead away from the vehicle. The interior and tires of the four-door sedan were destroyed by the fire. The matter is under investigation.
