Rhonda Yutzy's design will grace T-shirts promoting the Columbia Conservation District.

DAYTON–Rhonda Yutzy designed the winning Columbia Conservation District T-shirt.

Last school year the Columbia Conservation District held a T-shirt design contest with the local school students, and after much deliberation, the design submitted by 5th grade student Rhonda Yutzy was selected as the winner.

Yutzy currently attends Dayton Elementary School, where her favorite subjects are math, science, and reading. She enjoys going to school and aspires to eventually become a teacher herself. She has a soft spot in her heart for all animals, and can be found keeping herself busy writing stories after school. She also enjoys playing basketball, going up to Bluewood during the winter months to hit the groomers on her skis, and exploring places new to her.

The design Yutzy submitted caught the eye of all the staff and Board of Directors at the Columbia Conservation District, and we are proud to wear it on our shirts. It is clear after talking to Yutzy that she is an incredibly bright student, a gifted athlete, and overall, a well-rounded person.
