Before WWVA started defending her, Makenna Barron chalked up two buckets to help DW to a first-quarter lead, but a chilly third quarter contributed to a 37-31 Senior Night loss.

DAYTON–A 10-2 third quarter spelled a loss for Dayton-Waitsburg Lady Wolfpack in their final game of the season, 37-31, capping a disappointing but experience-building season with a 1-14 overall record, 0-10 league mark.

DW outscored the Lady Knights 8-7 in the opening quarter and held their own in a 13-13 second quarter for a 21-20 half time lead.

But WWVA had a 9-2 run in the third to edge ahead and held on to win.
