Previous Operations Manager Jeff Ruchert has been hired for the position as the new CTA General Manager at the end of the application and interview process was completed.
POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority (CTA) announced their new General Manager Jeff Ruchert, approved a Consolidated Grant Program, and discussed design planning for a bus barn and maintenance facility at their meeting on July 24.
Jeff Ruchert, who has been the CTA Operations Manager, has been hired as the General Manager after an application and interview process. The CTA will advertise the opening of the Operations Manager position.
The CTA approved agreement PTD-0646, a Consolidated Grant Program from the Washington State Department of Transportation that will provide Garfield County with $168,000 for the upcoming biennium.
The designing of the bus and maintenance barn by RPW Engineering is partially finished. Although the funding for building the barn was not received, the designing will be finished so the project will be ready to build when the funding is secured.
